For your system to carry the Intel Centrino mobile technology brand, it must:
1. Include the following components:
   • Intel® Pentium® M processor
   • Either Intel® 855PM or Intel® 855GM chipset
   • One of the following adapters:- Intel® PRO/Wireless 2100 LAN 3A MiniPCI Adapter- Intel® PRO/Wireless 2100 LAN 3B MiniPCI Adapter
2. Be verified using the Intel-supplied Intel Mobile Technology Verification Tool, with passing results uploaded to the Intel Platform Verification database prior to use.
3. Be a mobile system.
4. Be used in accordance with the Intel Inside® Program Terms and Conditions, including requirements for Intel brand with Platform Requirements.

The Intel Mobile Technology Verification Tool will test for the presence of production level components and verify the wireless component software driver being installed. The tool supports Microsoft Windows* XP, 2000 and 98 SE operating systems, and it is available for download through Intel's website only.

IPI needs to use the Intel Mobile Technology Verification Tool and submits passing results for every notebook model with Intel Centrino mobile technology. Intel recommends that you put all your notebooks with Intel Centrino mobile technology under a limited model scheme in order to reduce your submission effort.
