Seagate Special ICC High Capacity SATA Demo Program
Seagate is pleased to announce a special promotion which will give participants of Spring 2005 ICC events a chance to try a Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 300GB or 400GB hard drive with Serial ATA NCQ interface at a significant saving.
ICC Spring 2005 special Offer:
- Seagate has created a special demonstration unit program that will enable qualifying System builders who attend a Spring 2005 ICC show to purchase one Barracuda 7200.8 high capacity hard drive, 300GB or 400GB, with Serial ATA NCQ interface, and receive a special discount!
- During the program period, the incentive will be promoted by Seagate through a promotional leaflet given out to participants at the ICC events.
- ICC delegates will be directed to a special ICC promotion website (www.seagatedrives.com/icc/offers) where they can register if they desire to purchase a Barracuda 7200.8 300GB or 400GB SATA drive at a special demo discount price, using the unique code which is printed on the promotional leaflet.
System builders will select their Distributor of choice to fulfill the demo unit. - Once a week, Seagate will supply you the list of system builders who have registered and selected you as the Authorised Distributor for fulfillment (list of “Seagate Qualified System builders”).
Program Period:
To be eligible for this program, system builders will have to register on the special ICC promotion web site between April 26 and June 10, 2005.
Qualifying shipments must be made from you to “Seagate Qualified system builders” during the period of April 26 2005 through Friday, July 1, 2005 (or while supplies last).
Program Details:
- Program period is April 26, 2005 through Friday, July 1, 2005 or while supplies last. System builder must pre-register on the Seagate special ICC promotion website (www.seagatedrives.com/icc/offers ) between April 26 and June 10, 2005. to apply for demo discount and select a Distributor of choice.
- On a weekly basis, Seagate will forward the list of qualifying System builders to each Authorised Distribution Partner for fulfillment.
- Seagate Authorised Distributor may sell one Barracuda 7200.8 300GB SATA or Barracuda 7200.8 400GB SATA hard drive to each qualified System builder on their list at the rebates listed above.
- Only sales to System builders registered and pre-qualified by Seagate will be eligible. Sales to System builders that are not on the weekly list provided by Seagate are not eligible. Program is limited to one drive per qualifying System builder.
- Qualifying model numbers for program are: ST3300831AS and ST3400832AS.
- Distributor will receive a $5 fulfillment fee for each 300GB or 400GB Demo drive sold at the special demo price to each qualified System builder during the “Special ICC Spring 2005 High Capacity SATA Demo Program” period.
- Seagate must receive POS EDI reports from Distributor during program period; failure to supply daily reports in the standard format may result in denial of claim.
- Program is effective only while supplies last; no backorders will be honored.
- Orders booked during program period must ship within 1 business day after the end of the program period (by Monday, July 4, 2005).
- Seagate reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time without any liability to Distributor.
- Seagate reserves the right to request copies of invoices and/or other supporting documentation for purposes of determining the final applicable payout for this program.
- Distributor or System builder is responsible for all applicable taxes.
- Distributor is responsible for all System builder rebate payments on qualifying Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 300GB and 400GB hard drives.
- Only sales from Seagate Authorised Distributors will be reimbursed
