GIGABYTE Debuts Servers for 3rd Gen. Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors

GIGABYTE Technology, (TWSE: 2376), an industry leader in high-performance servers and workstations, announced over 20 new servers and server motherboards ready for the one- or two-socket design of the 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors.

There are 7 new motherboards, including 4 models available for dual processors, as well as 10 general purpose R-Series servers, 3 high density H-Series servers, 4 GPU dense G-Series servers, and a small form edge E-Series server. These balanced servers are optimized for enterprise, cloud, HPC, network and security workloads.

Intel has made incredible advances with its 40+ SKUs of 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Higher core count, PCIe 4.0 support with up to 64 lanes per socket, increase in memory bandwidth and total system memory per socket, as well as AI and security boosts have been added while maintaining a competitive price to make these servers an excellent choice for upcoming new sever builds or legacy servers looking to upgrade from prior generations.

“Over the years we have become accustomed to Intel creating product features that target and expand what servers are capable of as we at GIGABYTE jointly develop servers for AI, HPC, and more.” said Daniel Hou, Executive Vice President of Network and Communication Business Unit, GIGABYTE. “And once again with the 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable processor we see a complete, rich offering that will allow us to bring a deep portfolio of servers to give 2021 businesses a new outlook to the data centers that are changing tomorrow .”

“The incredible amount of data being generated today has motivated us to continue innovating and engineering processors with a high level of compute performance that are optimized for workloads from in-memory analytics to edge computing,” said Greg Ernst, Intel Vice President, US Sales. “Our collaboration with GIGABYTE is delivering faster time-to-market servers based on the latest 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor.”

Remote and Multiple Server Management:

As part of GIGABYTE’s value proposition, GIGABYTE provides GIGABYTE Management Console (GMC) for BMC server management via a web browser-based platform. Additionally, GIGABYTE Server Management (GSM) software is free to download and used to monitor and manage multiple servers. GMC and GSM offer great value while reducing license and customer maintenance costs.
