Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards, and hardware solutions, announced the new BRIX mini-PC series which adopts the latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000U mobile processors, with leading 7nm technology and 8 cores/16 threads CPU architecture, 15W low TDP design, and 59% less power consumed than the previous generation. Benefiting from AMD’s premium "Zen 2" core architecture and "Vega" GPU cores, these processors boost the performance breakthrough of the processors and graphics cores. Enhanced by GIGABYTE’s exclusive design, the new BRIX mini-PC design integrates 4 display outputs, 2.5G Ethernet, and 802.11ax WiFi6 configuration, creating the most powerful multitasking mini-PC with astounding performance and fast responsiveness for either gaming or content creation.

AMD Ryzen™ 4000U mobile processors

The latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000U mobile processors highlight 7nm technology, the powerful Zen2 CPU core architecture with up to 8 cores/16 threads, and 15W low TDP. Compared to the previous generation, these new processors feature a 15% increase in IPC, higher clock frequencies and 20% lower SOC power consumption. The powerful performance of AMD Ryzen™ 4000U mobile processors definitely sets a milestone for the mobile platform. When it comes to the benchmark testing, it’s inspiring to show that 3DMark CPU Performance scores lead 1.3 times than competitor’s 11th gen. processors and 1.8 times on CineBench R20 benchmark. No more compromise between productivity performance and gaming or video performance.

AMD Ryzen™ 4000U mobile processors with Zen2 cores also gear up gaming performance and multimedia processing to a new level with their up to 1.79 TFLOPS computing performance. Compact Size, Full Functionality

GIGABYTE’s R&D team effort allows GIGABYTE’s latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000U BRIX mini-PC series to integrate comprehensive functions within its compact size (34.7 x 119.5 x 119.5 mm). The 2.5G Ethernet design paired with 802.11ax WiFi6 configuration reduces the risk of disconnections while increasing the flexibility of the network. The integrated TPM IC can provide hardware-level information security and system protection by avoiding data leak from decryption.

Expanding the capability for unlimited possibilities

GIGABYTE’s latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000U BRIX mini-PC provides two types of versions, which are slim version and HDD version. The HDD version is equipped with 1 x COM Port to support RS232 protocol” it can be easily used in a variety of commercial applications, such as Security system, Vending machine, ATM system, KIOSK, and so on. The new add-on card GC-BRCML-DLC can also be used on HDD version to provide expansion options by offering two extra RJ45 ports; one is dedicated for Ethernet use, the other functions as RS-232 signals receiver. It hugely increases the flexibility and functionality to adapt to various applications. Combined with different I/O shields, the mini size BRIX systems offer unlimited possibilities. Bundled with a VESA bracket, the GIGABYTE’s latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000U BRIX mini-PC can easily be mounted behind a monitor, fulfilling various applications in different fields of industry, commerce, or education.

Native 4 x 4K Display Outputs

Enhanced by the latest 7nm Vega graphics cores, GIGABYTE’s latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000U BRIX mini-PC boosts 60% improvements on graphics performance compared to the previous generation, as well as 2x better than the competition. The new BRIX mini-PC supports natively four 4K/60P displays outputs with HDMI/ mini -DP/ 2x USB Type C DP for the best monitor compatibility, which ensures users can display their outputs perfectly for more flexible monitor allocation and more fluent operation. Users can allocate monitors for multitasking according to their different usage without preparing multiple machines; even can further assemble monitors for ultra-wide screens of digital signage which makes BRIX the supreme choice for high-performance PC and multimedia systems.
