- Bluetooth experience needs to be managed carefully, so that guests can’t connect & play music in other rooms. ​ ​ - Same goes for Airplay 2, Chromecast, Qplay and Spotify Connect. Features must be disabled or carefully managed on the network, which is often not an option in hotels. ​ ​ - ​A consumer remote (Halo or Beoremote One) is often way too complex to learn / understand for a guest staying in a room for typically 2-3 hours (awake). ​​ - ​The buttons on our products are great for your home where you live and adapt with the products, but in a hotel, it is confusing with Preset buttons and personalization for one guest will not match the next guest.​ ​ ​ - Guests being able to configure a product from Google Home app or the Bang & Olufsen app via BLE is unwanted and can sabotage the experience with changing product names to something unwanted, changing default or max volume etc. ​ ​​ - Proximity sensors are great for the most parts, but when they light up on a product in your hotel room next to your bed it can be a disturbing factor for getting your sleep. ​ ​- Solid integration and certification with ISP system running the property is usually required for in room content and room controls.​ ​ - ​Two-way integration are needed for Hotel features like wakeup & check-in to function.
